Angels and Demons

I watched the movie last night. It was a good way to rest while everyone else was out to eat. I really needed it. I arrived a week ago today, after traveling for 33 hours, and hit the ground running. We’ve been together as a group the entire time, either in the office, in the apartment or in vans. Although my introvert and extrovert are almost equal, my introvert was screaming for time to relax; feeling ill pushed me over the edge.

I’m feeling MUCH better today. My headache is gone and my muscle aches are nearly gone, too. I’m still feeling sharp abdominal pains every once in a while, probably because I ate Fido. Or, its just Montezuma’s revenge. J

Thanks for pr@ying for me. By the way, I wanted to let you all know. I asked for pr@yer last week for the team and for relationships, etc. Without going into much detail, within one day, the team was back on track. This was mir@culous! Literally! There was movement that could have derailed large portions of the project but everyone reached consensus and is now moving forward with the same mind! Praze the L0rd! Keep pr@ying for relationships as we continue to collaborate.

Sarah and I walked through the China shoe factory yesterday and met with the production team. The China factory is primarily used to create samples of products that the enkay facility will mass produce. It’s also setup to fulfill contractual obligations should the enkay factory be suddenly taken offline.

I’ve now worn each outfit I brought at least twice (I’ve worn my shorts every day). This consists almost entire of white t-shirts and polo’s; classic college wear. Anyway, I started to smell, so I decided it was time to wash my clothes. We have a washer in our apartment without any English. It worked! I don’t know what settings I used but my clothes don’t smell anymore! We have no dryer, so I let them hang-dry near the window.

Today was muggy again and low visibility. From our office, you can see the countryside/hills and mountains beyond, but most days they are shrouded in clouds or smog.

It’s raining out the open windows as I write this in our conference room. Honking horns (they’re constant, there’s rarely a moment you don’t hear a horn) and splashing puddles, plus the occasional plane, are typical noises throughout the day. The city lights here are great. A kaleidoscope of colors, constantly moving and changing on all the buildings. The dripping streets reflect it all and create a beautiful mesmerizing glow. I’ll post a pic.

Please pr@y for my body. Also, and more importantly, for two of our employees who went inside today and should return tomorrow evening. They went in to check on the factory and see how things are going.

-Over and out
