Dusk in Yanji

The last few days have flown by. I leave Yanji in 16 hours.

This morning we got up and headed to the office to help clean up, share pictures and thoughts from the trip and tie up any loose strings. We had a great lunch a few hours ago. Another Korean meal of rice, egg, and vegetables with some great fried squid on the side. They bring it to you in scalding hot stone bowls and it cooks while you stir it.

I went to the market to buy a couple cheap knock-offs, so I can have some bling when I get back to the States. And now I’m in the office. The sun is going down outside our 20th-story windows while I finish up making copies of pictures for everyone in the group. We’re going to have dinner together at another workers home tonight and then we’ll go to the jin jil bahn one last time.

I hope I will have a chance to see all of you soon and tell you more about my trip in person. I’ve tried to share as much as I can on here but there is so much more to share.

See you all soon. That’s it for now.

Goodbye from Yanji.
